Ole House Close Out

Closing Up the House
1. Secure all windows in house, upstairs and bunk house
2. Lock storage building door
3. Turn off hot water heater at fuse panel
4. Turn off pump at switch in bathroom
5. Take all perishables out of frig and off shelf, throw away or take home
6. Put blue chair, swing, etc in house
7. Empty frig on porch and turn around backwards
8. Turn off all lights, including out house light (switch on bunk house by Dave’s room)
9. All electrical appliances unplugged (except indoor frig)
10. Lock all doors, bunk house and house
11. Scan area for left items
12. Take the garbage with you
13. Read the electric meter (send to Tate?)

End of Season Also:
1. Empty the pressure tank, the hot water tank
2. Drain the lines - open all the spigots, especially the one outside
3. Empty any water out of the commode
4. Drain the tanks under the porch, re-route the spouting
5. Take all food out of frig and off shelf, throw away or take home
6. Take the flag down
